on Sunday October 27 in John Wesley Hall after the 10:15 service
- Bring your favorite soup in a crock pot and bread or
cornbread. Enjoy the fellowship of our church family and learn
more about Hobbs Backyard Missions - helping people in our own
"backyards"!
Sound Technicians are needed for our current
Worship services at 8 am and 10:15 am and the new contemporary
worship service that we will be starting in January 2003. Our
goal is to get enough well trained techs so we can rotate the
services and give several people the opportunity to serve, but
not be pulled away from the worship service every week, or be
asked to handle multiple services. For more information contact

You are invited to join the Seekers
Sunday School Class October 27 as they begin the video
study of Prayer of Jabez. This is an eight week study.
Mission in Motion Truck - November 16 through
January 3 the
Odessa District will have the opportunity to help fill the Mission
in Motion truck (it is the size of a package delivery truck).
Sager-Brown UMCOR Depot in Baldwin, Louisiana need "Flood
Buckets". They have the buckets, they just need the supplies
to go into the buckets.
- Following is a partial list of the supplies:
- 1/2 gallon bleach
- 5 scouring pads, scrub brush (Ceder-O 2000*)
- 18 cleaning towels (Easy-Wipe* reusable)
- Sponges (Niagara*)
- More supplies are needed - check church office for details
Altar Flowers - Contact Wanda in the church
office to designate altar flowers to honor or remember your family
and friends.

heck is Hobbs? - Hobbs is the center of the action in
